Repurposed Side Table with Amy Howard Furniture Lacquer

Hey, Homies!

I have been dying to share this post with you all.  Last month I posted an inspiration article about Oriental Design.  I finally got around to completing the Asian-inspired side table, but I never edited the tutorial video nor took any pictures.  Between volunteering my services to help plan my ten years high school reunion (YIKES 10 years!), watching Royal grow in her sleep, working out and losing 6 lbs (go me!), and my job I have been busy and slacking on my DIY pimping! But I am back to share with you this fabulous side table I refinished the Amy Howard High-Performance Furniture Laquer Spray Paint in the color Brisson Red and the Bright Idea Finishing Lacquer.  I will be doing a review of this product vs. Rustoleum Brand Spray Paint later.

After learning more about the vivid colors used in oriental interior decor i wanted to refinish the side table with a bright lacquer paint.  I used Amy Howard lacquer for my dining table in white but I didn’t think the shine was as high as I thought a lacquer shine would be but only because it was white. So I decided to give Amy one more shot and refinish some furniture in a bright color.

Wow! I love it! I want to try some of the spray paint myself on a desk I have. Great YouTube too!

Thanks! I can’t wait to see how that desk turns out. It is a great product and they have some amazing colors to choose from. If Iuse her lacquer again I want to try Belgium Blue. It’s so dope!
